We offer lease riding opportunities on some of our horses.
Lessons can also be scheduled by arrangement.
Day passes to bring your own horse and use our arena and fields and trails for the day (proof of recent negative coggins required)
On our 22-acre farm, we have several pastures, a lovely sand outdoor area, and miles of trails through woods and fields that connect into the Greylock Glen and Mt Greylock Reservation!

Kathy Foley, LMHC CHAIS (Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Human-Animal Interaction Specialist) has been providing psychotherapy & CBT to Berkshire County residents for 2 decades. Here, she is now able to offer traditional psychotherapy that includes one or more of our therapy animals:
miniature horses, and full-size horses, and a therapy dog-in-training.
We run a small Therapeutic Riding Program here at Aisling Mountain Farm, LLC. With the new arena cover, we are excited to expand our offerings starting Spring/Summer 2023!
Kathy Foley is our Massachusetts Licensed Riding Instructor. She is also a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) through PATH, International.

Aisling Mountain Farm currently has 3 wonderful lesson horses for beginner through intermediate riders.
Spring 2021 saw the beginning of our Therapeutic Riding Program here at Aisling Mountain Farm. Spots filled quickly and we currently have a waiting list. More slots will become available as schedule, funding, and volunteer availability allow. We are DELIGHTED to be able to offer this vital program.

Psychotherapy session in which one or more horses are included to assist with learning about and managing emotions, anxiety, trauma and more, Horses are flight animals that mirror our own emotions back to us. This is an empirically-validated effective approach which helps even when words fail.
Currently unavailable
45-60 minute family psychotherapy session assisted by one or more of our therapy equines. Family dynamics and conflicts can be addressed with the help of our intuitive horses. Often families can come together and find their strengths in completing tasks with our equine partners.
We have a variety of wonderful horses are available for all levels to enjoy, based on availability and pending at least one riding session or lesson to determine the best fit between rider and horse. Safety and comfort of both horse and human are of utmost importance at Aisling Mountain Farm! We will work to match you with the right equine partner.
Come Spring 2023, We will be offering most of our lesson horses for partial lease to interested riders!
Depending on the amount of riding you'd like to do and the flexibility you desire in your riding schedule, we have many options typically ranging from 1-3 days/week. We strive to be as flexible as possible, while ensuring our horses are in good health with an appropriate number of workdays and rest days to match their needs.
Priority given to students participating in our lesson programs.
Once approved as an independent rider with identified horse or horses that are good matches for you, you are eligible to schedule single lease rides and use our facilities: outdoor arena, fields and trails, and access to ride off-property onto public lands which include miles and miles of rough and/or well-maintained trails of all kinds and spectacular vistas and wildlife aplenty.
We have a lovely assortment of friendly chickens that free-range on our farm. They lay green, white and brown eggs that are nutritious and super delicious!

You can bring your own horse to ride at Aisling Mountain Farm and surrounding areas! Trailer in and schedule a lesson with a Mass-licensed trainer, use our facilities, or try out some of our obstacles! *Reservation and proof of negative Coggins within the past 12 months required.
Plenty of parking and room to turn around with your rig! Enjoy a solo ride or bring your friends or meet up with one of our riders for a fabulous group ride. Fee grants access to the grounds for fulldaylight hours.
Bring your own horse for lessons in our white sand indoor arena. Some jumps, cavaletti, obstacles are available for use. Or take a trail lesson! Current lesson fee applies for our instuctor(s). Ring fee of $15 applies to any outside trainer (must be independently MA licensed and insured.) Add $5 to upgrade to a day pass and feel free to stay and enjoy the facility as long as you like before and afterward (daylight only).
